Mathew Hayman - The Story Of The Under Dog

TRANSCRIPT

Mat Hayman was the rank outsider, the domestique, destined never to have the glory and always in a supporting role. Weeks before Paris -Roubaix , success for Mat would just been making the start line. But a broken arm in a preparatory race seemed to have scuppered his chances of taking part. In an almost super human effort he managed to make the start line…but the story doesn’t end there. Some times in sport the little guy does have his day in the sun.

“I think one of the big thing is they can really deal with pressure. And that's a mental thing, whether whether you've got that and you're just gonna be a winner, and that's it.”

- Matthew Hayman

Joovv Everyone Needs Healthy Light, But Most People Don’t Get Enough. Light is essential for our health and cellular function, just like water, sleep, and the nutrients from food. The human body is designed to function with an abundance of natural sunlight, but with our modern lifestyles, most people don’t get nearly enough light every day. The average American spends over 90% of their time indoors. That’s not nearly enough natural light for optimal health and balance! Worse yet, much of the time we spend indoors is filled with bright blue light from screens and overhead lighting, which can have a negative effect on sleep and circadian rhythms.
