Episode 563

Aaron Kearny

Aaron Kearny - Star of Badlands and The Chamois Time Tour

TRANSCRIPT

In todays long anticipated episode Anthony and Aaron reunite to chat about Badlands Gravel Race and their epic 2,000km ride through Spain. Aaron talks about his retirement from professional cycling at 22, trying to find an identity away from the racing and how gravel events and epic adventures have changed his perspective on the bike. This is a brilliant interview and is really inspiring for anybody who is changing their life path whether that's in their career or just cycling disciplines.

“ I had more of a love for the bike over the lock down the mountain biking and hitting a few trails going off on the path less traveled. And yeah, that kind of kicked off the the spark for adventure. So I kind of moved away from cycling because that was my identity for 10 years plus I did find it hard for years”
