As the world entered lockdown due to Covid, Simon Parkers life fell apart. His travel journalism career vanished over night and he tragically lost a very close friend. Simon turned to the only therapies he knew - travel and cycling. Simon tells us about his amazing solo journey of optimism and hope.

“Up until this moment, I think I done projects to show off and to impress other people. In 2016, I sailed and cycled fifteen thousand miles halfway across the world for a BBC documentary, I was very proud of that. The reality was that it was pretty horrible experience and I didn’t really enjoy it.
